Android Fortune

An implementation of Unix Fortune; giving you amusing, quirky and sometimes bewildering quotes, aphorisms and sayings. This simple app (created to learn more about Android) does not attempt to behave exactly like Unix fortune; that would not be appropriate in Android.

It includes optional Star Trek and Linux fortunes.

    • Version 2.0 has a widget that allows you to get fortunes delivered to the Status Bar at configurable periods.

    • Version 2.1 added "Get Another" button to the widget view..

    • Version 2.3 added "Share" (by email) button..
