SLRC UNCONFERENCE 2010:  WEB 2.0 UNLEASHED

Thursday, August 12th

8:30am - 4:30pm

Registration is limited to 70 participants ~ Register early!

A big thank you goes out to all who participated SLRC's first unconference!  You can see what was talked about at the unconference and continue discussions on the agenda page.  Each section of the agenda will link to a specific page where you can start and continue discussions.  Also, please take a moment to fill out a short survey to let us know what you thought about the day and how we can continue to make it even more of a success!

The Enoch Pratt Free Library, State Library Resource Center (SLRC) invites library employees from around the state to join us for our first ever unconference! The 2010 SLRC Unconference's theme will be "Web 2.0 Unleashed" and is participant-driven. All of the content will be voted on the morning of the unconference. You'll be able to sit back and listen for some of it, but the real benefits come from getting involved -- both during the event and before it happens. The more you participate the more you gain!

During this unconference, participants will have the opportunity to direct the conference by presenting on a technology topic they're passionate about, in an informal, interactive setting. Presentations can be as long as an hour or as short as five minutes.

The 2010 SLRC Unconference is more than a great opportunity for would-be presenters to share their knowledge and experience with other attendees in an informal setting. It also offers attendees the ability to learn what's on the minds of the library community around the state of Maryland.

For more information on Unconferences, please read the "About the Unconference" page.

You tell us what you want to say. You tell us what you want to hear. You set the agenda.
