Slow Food Miami is the local chapter of Slow Food USA and the International Slow Food Association. The founder of Slow Food, Carlo Petrini, said, "While it is a global movement of people who love the pleasures of the table, we realize we can no longer be indifferent to how the food got there. We want to know the history of food and the place where it came from and to imagine the hands of the people who grew it, transported it and cooked it before it is served." Our local members are this passionate about good food and seek to promote the aspects of the Slow Food movement that are unique to Miami. We want to help
