July 26,
1984. Timmy Driskell is an up-and-coming designer who supports himself
by more commerical means while creating belts, earrings, even vests in
his "spare time". He used to do fun painted leather things for
himself, but his work has matured into art-to-wear over the past year
and a half. At this point he's literally painting each design one at a
time. Just wait 'til he he gets discovered nationally.
Hand-painted leathers at Tootsie's and Eve France. Earrings from $18; belts $40-$110.
