*News Updates for December 2008*

 Note from Natalie:

On behalf of the Marketing Association officers, I would like to say "Thank You" for a wonderful semester. Without the dedication and participation of its members, the MA would not continue to be a successful student organization through the College of Business. For those of you who are not graduating this semester, I hope that you continue your participation throughout your studies at SJSU. I know that with every semester the MA will continue to achieve great things. Congratulations and best wishes for those who are graduating this semester. Good luck on finals, and I wish everyone a happy holiday season!

- Natalie Salinas, President

Semester Achievements:

* Raised over $5,000 for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in San Jose.
* Raised awareness and donations for the Second Harvest Food Bank in the form of monetary donations and a semester-long food drive.
* Membership of over 80 students for the Fall Semester

**Spring Semester Announcement**

The President and Vice President have been elected for the Spring 2009 semester. Gerilyn Lay, the current Events Coordinator, will be the President.
