About the SJSU Comm Club
The SJSU Communication Studies Club, known as the SJSU Comm Club, is a non-profit organization consisting of students and staff members of San Jose State University. Comm Club annually plans, develops, and executes educational, commencement and social action programs for the academic year. Some of the special events include the end-of-the-semester Winter Dinner (Fall semester) and BBQ Picnic (Spring semester), in addition to the annual May Department Graduation Ceremony (following final exams in the Spring semester).
Purpose: We build community among and enhance the learning experience for the students, faculty, staff, and alumni of the Communication Studies Department.
Values:
• Integrity - We act in a manner that is consistent with our values. We do this with honesty, responsibility, fairness and accountability.
• Relationships - We communicate respect, embrace diverse perspectives and honor commitments.
• Learning - We believe that learning is a lifelong adventure. We seek opportunities that inspire intellectual curiosity, challenge our skills, and engage us in the educational experience.
