We have two dogs who we love like children. Zoe, a five year old miniature dachshund, was our first dog. She was adopted by Stacy from the MdSPCA. Almost two years later, we adopted Jake, a golden retriever/collie mix. He is now two years old. Although their sizes vary greatly, they play together all the time. Zoe has even won a game or two of tug.
Zoe has been involved as a therapy dog with Pets on Wheels in Maryland. We hope to find a similar organization for her in VA. Jake's true love is a tennis ball. We hope he'll use this love as he starts flyball training soon!
