  SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE
The Sydney Opera House is one of the busiest performing arts centres in the world and also one of the 10 construction wonders of the world in the 20th century.The  Sydney Opera House started to build in 1957 and opened in 1973, it took 15 yrs to build. It was built on a point of land called Bennelong Point; the point was named after an aborigine called Bennelong.

 There are 5 performance spaces for dance, theatre, opera, concerts and film.

 

   SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE

It was as early as 1815 that Francis Greenway proposed building a bridge from the northern to the southern shore of the Sydney harbour.

The Sydney harbour Bridge is a steel arch bridge which is also known as the coat hanger.

Facts:

·        The Sydney Harbour Bridge grows half a meter in the day.

·        The arch span is 503 meters.

·        The top of the arch is 134 meters above sea level.

·        The length of the bridge is 1149 meters.

·        The bridge cost approximately $21 million.

·        It would take 30 thousand liters of paint to paint the bridge.
 
 
LUNA PARK SYDNEY
 Luna park was opened in 1935 and is located on the north side of Sydney harbour. The popular theme park is a place where family and friends can have the time of their lives on the rides.The entrance is a huge smiley face.
