sEN. bARACK oBAMA kNOWS mY nAME...

From our first local meeting in January to an unexpected
shout out from the man himself in May 2008, my involvement in starting the Corvallis for Obama group was incredibly
empowering because of its phenomenal use of social media to
activate a grassroots foundation and the innovative use of
technology to connect people and share information.
Regardless of your political leanings, the engagement,
organization and efficacy of this campaign is undeniable.

In this video below, Senator Barack Obama says a personal thank you during the  primaries to myself and other grassroots organizers...listen for the "Higginbotham" shout out in this clip my good friend from journalism school (now a news producer) caught on tape.
