Novel Studies: The Prince and the Pauper.
Grammar packets are given out each Monday of a full week. On the front page is a list of all the assignments for the week in spelling, sayings, poetry, and novel studies. Students are given time to copy this information into their folders every Monday morning. The Packet also includes the grammar lessons for the week. The packet is to be turned in on Fridays.
Social Studies: Ancient Rome. Trojan Horse Information has come home with your child on Monday, Nov. 9. The horses will be due after Winter Break, Jan 12, 2010.

Students were given a progress report in L.A. this week. They should have brought it home to you. The official progress report comes out next week., but this is just to let you know how your child is doing at this point. There is no extra credit. Students need to complete their assignments and turn them in on time. Following class rules continues to be a challenge to some of our students. Please remind them of the importance of this, and that the classroom is a place of learning. Disruptions cause other students not to learn and this cannot be tolerated.
All Gingerbread Houses are due Dec. 15. * No late projects will be accepted. Every student was given directions and information.
