This uses the new Guardian API and the Google Data Visualisation API to show graphs of how often things are mentioned across guardian.co.uk, much like Google Trends. TubeTimer This was inspired by the Cabinet Office's Show Us a Better Way competition - it uses a dataset from the National Public Transport Data Repository, Dijkstra's algorithm, a Google Map mashup and more to make on-demand colourful maps showing how long it takes you to get to places on the Tube (plus walking time).
