Entreprendre Vert is an independent, non-profit network of green entrepreneurs and professionals who have decided to build a greener economy.

Our members also include (mostly small) businesses and individuals from the policy world and the media. We are a pioneer group of enthusiastic professionals of all ages.

The organization began in 2005 and has been active nationally ever since. We work with other European green entrepreneur alliances : Unternehmens Grün (Germany) and Grüne Wirtschaft (Austria). We network with these organizations. Our purpose is to promote a more sustainable economy through entrepreneurship.

We organize monthly debates in an organic restaurant on eco-business themes such as clean energy, biodiversity, green cosmetics… And we assist new entrepreneurs by providing networking, advice and a place to exchange ideas and brainstorm projects.

Some of our current projects include micro training for our members on the challenges of entrepreneurship in the green framework, advisory project counselling with experienced professionals and with the partnership of the Paris Chamber of Commerce. We also recently created  the "Emeraude" (Emerald) Award, in partnership with the European Commission (through its Sustainable Europe Campaign).

We are gaining media coverage at the moment. Our board members have signed op-eds in newspapers like La Tribune and Le Monde. Some are frequently interviewed, and we hope to keep the news going. Meanwhile new members are joining. Be a part of the green revolution!
