I am a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. My primary fields of interest are Applied Macroeconomics and International Finance.

My current research examines the impacts of technology shocks on economic activity in postwar United States. I use a direct measure of technical change, derived from actual inventions identified by engineers who are experts in the field of technology, to evaluate the aggregate and sectoral implications of technological progress.
