Well the video of the month for March is now up and running! The video of the month for March is a video review of "Moon Sensei: The Art of Ukemi #1". This wonderful video is by Richard Moon Sensei of City Dojo located in San Francisco. Moon Sensei has been very kind to our dojo on many occasions. For example he allowed us to use his wonderful story "The Transformation of Egbert" in our last newsletter. In this video he demonstrates in extreme detail the fundamentals of doing a back roll in aikido. This month's video is the teaching of Luke Edson Sensei of Silverstrand Dojo Nebraska. In this video Luke Sensei teaches why body contact is so important in the art of aikido. Get Ready, The 2012 Silverstrand Dojo International Seminar is Almost Here!
Texas Dates: March, 17th and 18th With Texoma Judo and Jujitsu
Lincoln Dates: March 30th – April 9th
This year’s seminar will be a most welcomed event. Ray Silverstrand Shihan will be providing the Lincoln Nebraska dojos with more than two weeks of personal instruction. This year we will have the traditional seminar weekend classes, but we will also have the pleasure of Shihan Silverstrand instructing our normal weekly scheduled classes!
