Coach Maydew played 3 years of varsity golf at Fairview High School in Boulder.  After high school he played golf at the University of Northern Colorado.  Coach Maydew has been a PGA golf professional and teaching pro since 1986 and currently teaches at Ute Creek Golf Course in Longmont.  He was the Tri-Valley coach of the year in 1999 and the Northern Conference coach of the year in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.  Coach Maydew has coached the Skyline and Silver Creek Men’s Golf Teams to 4 Regional tournament championships with several individual and teams qualifying for the state tournament.  Mike has also coached Silver Creek to four consecutive Northern Conference championships in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.  Maydew coached the Raptors to it's first State Championship in 2011 and was named Colorado Golf Coach of the year by the Denver Post.
