Matt Lee, Connor Dowling, Evan Foley, Andrew Foley and Anthony Vargas combined to throw a one hitter for the Benefit Consulting Group. Foley (2B) and Vinyarsky (3B) had extra base hits for Benefit Consulting Group.

Hackney's 10 - School of Rock 4: The School of Rock wanted to let loose a "rebel yell" to start the season, but Hackney's strong pitching performance silenced their bats. Hackney's was led by Sid Powell's home run and Tyler Igunbor's double. Hackney's also benefitted from a solid pitching performance by George Sherman, Sid Powell and Tyler Igunbor. School of Rock was led by Dirks, who had a double and triple in addition to pitching two innings.
