Silliman College is a residential college at Yale University. It opened September 1940 as the last of the original ten residential colleges, and includes buildings that were constructed as early as 1901. It is the largest college in terms of area, consisting of a full city block in New Haven, Connecticut, bordered by College, Wall, Grove and Temple Streets.

Due to Silliman's size, the college is able to house its freshmen in the college instead of on Yale's Old Campus, allowing first year students to immediately become immersed in the vibrant student life in Silliman.

Archived Announcements:

The SilliButtery is now open from 10pm-1am for the fall semester!  The Buttery is offering new, pre-paid, punch cards this year.  Each card comes in a $15 denomination and will make it so you don't have to bring cash to the Buttery each visit.

Every Sunday night is Silliman Family Night in the dining hall - restricted to only Sillimanders and Swing Spacers.  Budget permitting, off-campus Sillimanders without a meal plan will be invited as Master K's guests throughout the semester.  If you are interested in providing background music for Family Nights, contact Master K.

Sadly, Silliman's American Beech Tree has left the courtyard.  Learn more and see some photos of the tree's last moments!
