What's Important

I'm just going to go through some things that are important, about who I am and what I believe, this is the basic stuff, more important than my art and interests and that: This is the pure core of who I am and what is important to me. Basically, I consider myself a violently intense spirit living for peace and love. In case that part is difficult to understand, well, "violently intense" means I have a lot of energy and a lot of strong passionate emotions. The "living for peace and love"-part means just what it says: I live for peace and love. So, if anyone spreads out some nasty rumor about me being a bad person or something, you know that's all it is: A nasty rumor.

I believe in some simple things: Everyone's rights are limited only when they limit someone else's rights. That's right. Your rights are endless as long as you don't limit anyone else's rights. My right to punch into the air ends where your right to not be punched begins. Your right to live your life as you wish ends when your way of living life hurts me: Then you have to change your way of living. People are free to do what they want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. Your right to collect hats is limited only when you steal my hat. I don't even have a hat. I'm just trying to be clear, because some people are really really slow when you try to explain simple things to them.

Another thing that I believe strongly in: As long as you are as honest as if no one is watching and as dignified as if the whole world is watching, you have nothing to be ashamed of. Some people might have difficulties to understand this, as certain people only live life to annoy other people and don't pay attention to simple philosophies such as this one. As I said: It is very simple. If you are always being honest and yourself, you will not have anything to hide or be ashamed of. At least if you always act dignified and respectable. If you lie and cheat and act like an idiot and a hypocrite you will have plenty to be ashamed of. As long as you're honest and dignified, no one will be able to make you look bad!

Yet another important thing: As you cannot possibly know the truth, you should not force your opinions on others! Yeah, that's right, all we got are beliefs, we cannot know one thing for sure, maybe the only ultimate truth is you will never know what the ultimate truth is. This is true both about trivial things and more important things. If you take racists for example, now this is a very serious and dark example, racists are idiots, right? Well, that is my opinion. These racists that claim that "black people" are inferior to "white people". That is just ridiculous and repulsive! But let's say as a crazy example, that these racists were in fact right (which they're not) even if the truth was that "black people" were inferior to "white people", these idiot racists could only believe so and not know it for sure and in case they would be wrong about what they believe, they shouldn't take a risk by killing people for being "black" (duuuh try telling the racists that, it won't work) either way, I'm pretty damn sure the racists are wrong either way, but even if they were right, they wouldn't have the right to kill people!

Another crazy example is that even if the "ultimate truth" was that I am supposed to go out and cut the dicks off of all the men in the world, I shouldn't do so, just in case I would be wrong. You know, so people can bitch however much they want about what is right and wrong, but in case they are wrong, they shouldn't take any stupid risks! (Oh, I think I'll go to heaven if I kill myself, I might as well give it a chance, because I'm stupid!) Get the point? Racists and other idiots are definitely wrong in my opinion, but even if they were right, they still wouldn't have the right to hurt anyone, just in case they actually were wrong... Just want to make sure everyone understands what I mean? Good. Moving on.

Considering some people "my people" and others "their people" is the first step towards a holocaust. Again, reminding you of the previous point, yeah, you have the right to consider people whatever you want, but you're still not allowed to mistreat them about it. You can think Jews are inferior, but you still have no right treating them as it. 'Cause what if you went out and killed people for being Jewish and then it turned out that Jews are in fact not inferior? Whoops! You just ruined a bunch of lives and now you probably can't live with yourself because of what you have done. Maybe you even kill yourself. Anyway, it's best not to even consider people "of different kinds" in the first place: We are all one kind.

Thinking of people in such a way that there are "different races", "different kinds" is what later leads to crap like holocausts, segregation, massacres, war and stuff. Yup, the parts of a genocide is classification, symbolization, dehumanization, organization, polarization, preparation, extermination and denial. So the important thing is to avoid the first step: Classification. Never classify people as different "kinds"! Africans, Europeans, Native Americans, Asians and whatnot are more alike than you might think! Stereotypes are often based on single cases or people trying to make others look bad. There are barely any genetic differences at all, so any differences you might notice will be of culture, where you grew up, how people treated you and coincidence.

Also, I would like to say another important thing: Feelings and needs are more important than laws and norms. When the laws of a nation are no longer based on things like how people feel, if they have food on their plates, healthy children, their voices heard and more based on stupid old principles that don't really care how people feel. "No, it doesn't matter if you feel bad and your children don't have food on their plates, what's important is you fill in these papers and pay this amount of money" that sort of thing is just sad. Ever heard of civil disobedience? The late great Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said that if the law mistreats you, it is your right to disobey! I leave you with these words.
