Delicious Curves

Delicious Curves, poem by Signe Robertson, 2009

Delicious curves
Beautiful, gray eyes
Kissable lips
And a lovely smile
Sensual hands
A seductive stare
Pretty teeth that show
Everytime you laugh
Everytime I see you
I just want more
No, it's never enough
Once I've seen you smile
Your sweet words
Calm my spirits
And make me glad to be alive
But my heart, it raises
You make me feel afraid
Afraid of being in love
But even more:
Afraid of losing you
Afraid of you being
Someone else's girl
When you know that my heart
Belongs to only you
You're too good to be true
Yes, there's nobody else like you!
The mysterious gaze
Hides a quirky mind
So full of humility
And love for everyone
Your soul is full of passion
You're making art all the time
Fantastic creations
That you thought up inside
My friend, you reached for my hand
But pierced right through my soul
You left a part of you there
A pain, a pleasure, a need
A temptation
Fascination
That just will never end
I'll always be your friend
I'll run away with you
Where there's no fear, only love
And I will make you happy - And kiss away the tears!
