  •  Tri Sigma was the first NPC sorority in Alaska, and currently the only sorority with two chapters in the state.
  • Tri-Sigma was the first sorority to establish an international chapter outside of North America.
  • Tri Sigma was the first NPC organization to install a deaf chapter. The Epsilon Psi Chapter at Rochester Institute of Technology was installed in 1991.
  • Tri-Sigma was the first sorority with 1 international chapter in Germany.
  • Tri Sigma is the only sorority to have created their own philanthropy, the Robbie Page Memorial.
  • Tri Sigma was the first sorority to adopt a zero-tolerance hazing policy
  • The play atriums featured in the movie Patch Adams were funded by Tri-Sigma
 

Famous Tri Sigmas:
  • Carrie Underwood, 2005 American Idol Winner, is a sister of the Alpha Iota chapter at Northeastern State University. She spoke at the Tri Sigma 2007 National Convention, held in Nashville, TN & continues to be an active alumna despite her busy schedule & celebrity status

  • Linda Denham, creator of the Care Bears.  The bear shown below was created for Tri Sigma.  The 3 hearts on its belly represent the 3 points of the triangle, which represents Tri Sigma.
