Lucinda is a nurse, writer, poet, community educator, mother, wife and traveler.  Since 1998, she has written a monthly column, Healthwise, which appears in the HCV Advocate. Lucindaʼs articles have appeared in a number of publications, including Hepatitis magazine, the Union and the San Jose Mercury News. 

 Lucinda is writing a book, but donʼt ask her what it is about because it is always changing. Actually, you can ask, but the answer will be different every time. She lives in Grass Valley, California with her husband. Her daughter, stepsons and grandchildren all live west of the Continental Divide. She is on the board of Sierra Writers.  In addition to essays and other forms of nonfiction, Lucinda writes poetry and haiku in the margins of her life.
