Thanksgiving  is fast approaching, at this time our class is doing exciting activities, and thinking of all their families and what they have to be thankful for. 
 
The class will be making autumn and Thanksgiving decorations and Art projects.
Our books that we are reading are specially selected by the new Literacy Reading Program, the children are really enjoying them. It is so invigorating to see their eagerness to learn and comprehend so much. I will be sending a list of Titles of books and their Authors to you in the upcoming month.
Things to Look Forward: 
November 11---- Dismissal at 12:00 Noon for the whole school-- Faculty Meeting- Cares and Challengers will be open as usual
 
Next Week- November 16th-- Dismissal at 12:00 Noon-- Teachers will be meeting with Middle States Team
NO LUNCH---therefore, No Hot Lunch  that day,also, NO CARES or CHALLENGERS( due to our meeting that the Cares teachers will be attending)
November 23rd---- Dismissal at 1:00 P.M.-- No Hot Lunch--- Beginning of THANKSGIVING  break
Although there will be Cares and Challengers that day.
 
At last , the return of HOT LUNCH--- November 30th------Pizza day--- Please send in $1.50 for pizza by Tuesday, 11/29
The children will receive a plastic zip- lock bag( which you can use each week , if you wish to order for your child)
 
Come visit us next week on Sunday, November 13th  to meet our Middle States Team and invited guests for a short presentation from our school children!
