Man is by nature a social animal, John Locke once famously remarked. And how true it is. None can exist in this world alone. Had it been possible, judging the animosity that lurks in the heart of men for their brethren, it would have happened long ago. Yet, the truth is, none of us can tread on this planet even for a day without the company of others. Even to think of such a proposition is nothing short of a nightmare.

        When the heat of the trials and tribulations of everyday life makes life impossible to bear, it is the cool shade of the love of our friends and companions that provide the much needed relief to our weary souls. When life hands out to us its fair little moments of joy, who better to share them with than friends? Be it joy or be it sorrow, friends are who are always there for you.
