Manicure

 

Manicure is the care of the hands and nails. The accompanying massage of the hands improves and increase the blood circulation, suppleness and flexibility of the hands and wrist. Discourages wrinkling of the skin on the hand, which is one of the first body part to show the sign of aging. Prevent nail splits and fragile tips. Basic manicure should be done once in a month to maintain health, beautiful hands.

Material

 

Warm water

Shampoo or liquid soap

Salt

One lemon

Acetone

Antiseptic lotion

Oil or Cream

Nail polish

 

Procedure

 

  1. Remove the old nail polish with nail remover or mild acetone using cotton.
  2. Shape the nail using nail cutter and nail filer, apply cuticle cream for 5 minutes to soften cuticle (dead skin).
  3. Dip and soak the hands in luke warm water to which shampoo, lemon juice, salt added.
  4. Rub smoothly with pumice stone using low pressure.
  5. Wash the hands with normal water and wipe  fingers with a soft towel.
  6. Clean the nail using cotton dipped in antiseptic lotion.
  7. Gently push back the cuticle with cuticle pusher.
  8. Massage the hands for 5-15 minutes. Let hands to absorb cream for some time.
  9. Apply the nail polish, do not dab, but stroke in on with three even strokes from base sweeping up to the top.
