He is a leader on the pitch and off the pitch, ensuring that all tasks and activities are carried out to the best that they can be while sacrificing personal time over and over again. In the eyes of the current team, Sibtain can proudly stand up and say that he is carrying the legacy of his great father well and is a role model for all aspiring sport leaders in the community. Secretary Br. Abbasali Damani BA(Hons) No great man has achieved anything without his number two. Abbasali has formed a strong friendship with Sibtain and his proven time and time again that he too would sacrifice all for Shia Sports. Abbasali is the face of the team and has proven over time that he is confident, influential and more than able to perform any public, personal or dirty tasks given to him. He brings confidence, energy, influence and great ideas to the team, which show on the field of, play, during meetings and while organising with the rest of the team. Assistant Secret ary Br. Wasim Gulamali BA(Hons) With every step Shia Sports takes, Wasim is there with it. While sacrificing personal time for running errands in the name of Shia Sports to ensuring that everything during sports is running to clockwork. Wasim brings a unique blend of ideas, confidence and hard work to the group. Everybody appreciates that money and accounting is no easy task and with the help of current chairman Sibtain Damji, Shabbir has shown with confidence that his ability to ensure all pennies are accounted for and Shia Sports runs in the most efficient and cost effective way.

A relative new member to the team. In the short time that Fatima has been part of the Shia Sports team, she has shown the drive and commitment that is associated with Shia Sports. With fresh ideas and with the backing of her own ladies team consisting of Tasleem Damani and Shakila Hudda, the future of the Ladies Shia Sports side is looking bright, fun, promising and sporty!!

Br. Muntazir Mamdani MCP It is unfair to simply label Muntazir a geek because he is in charge of the website! Muntazir is a crucial member of the Shia Sports team and is one of the most reliable volunteers in the community. Finding space in his personal time, Muntazir while maintaining the website, he also ensures that on a Saturday night the volleyball nets are put into place, every member has been welcomed warmly and with the help of Maisam Damani is always there and be willing for Shia Sports whenever called upon. |
