Welcome!

Welcome to the Sherwood Middle School PAC!

The Sherwood Middle School Parent Advisory Council's (PAC) primary purpose is to establish a parent, teacher, and school staff working relationship to enhance the school community and learning environment within Sherwood Middle School; and to support Sherwood Middle School students, teachers, school staff and programs through volunteer and fundraising efforts. The SMS PAC is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The PAC provides a great opportunity for parents to get involved, support their kids, other parents, and the school staff; we encourage everyone to participate. PAC meetings for the 10/11 school year will be held the 1st Monday of each month.

PAC Funded Projects

Over the 2011/2012 Holiday Break SMS had a new video announcement system installed, that was funded by PAC. This new system will be a much more efficient means of communicating with students and staff and will eliminate the need for classroom interruptions for announcements. Pictures will be posted soon!

February PAC Meeting

All parents of SMS students are welcome and encouraged to attend any SMS PAC meeting. The next meeting will be held February 6th at 8:15am in Mr. Bennett's office. Hope to see you there!

Attention Teachers!! We want to fund your bright ideas and innovative approaches to teaching our students. We budget money each year for school/classroom enhancements but we need your suggestions and funding requests. Please fill out our SMS PAC Funding Request form and return it to the PAC box in the front office.
