Go into any church and you will see it is decorated with flowers and greenery for the major seasons of the year. Our flower group at Sherbrooke St Gilbert's take special pride in the floral and other arrangements which adorn the Sanctuary for all the major Services- Easter, Harvest, Advent, Christmas and other festivals. Our flower committee is made up of volunteers who work as a team and we welcome new members, male or female, to join us. We also provide for the ministry of flowers which goes to the ill or housebound to let them know the worshipping community remember them. It is a great group to belong to as we see the work we do bringing enjoyment to many, many people as they worship in our kirk.
We have also provided the arrangements for bridal occasions and school prize-givings that are held in Sherbrooke St. Gilbert's Church. Please contact the Flower Committee if you would like to discuss this.
