Welcome to Toastmasters’ magic world! Toastmasters International was formed in 1924 at the YMCA in Santa Ana, California. It has grown to become a world leader in helping people become more competent and comfortable in front of an audience. The nonprofit organization now has nearly 250,000 members in 12,000 clubs in 106 countries, offering a proven -and -enjoyable way to practice and hone communication and leadership skills. We are the first Shenzhen Toastmaster Club established by our club father, veteran Toastmaster Mark Pixley in 2003.We aim at providing a supportive environment for members to develop their public speaking skills, communication and leadership skills. In the past six years, we have successfully held more than 170 meetings and up to 1,500 people from different countries, different cultures, and different industries visited our club. In 2009, we would continue to provide good service to the members, helping them to complete the valuable educational programs designed by Toastmaster International. We would also work hard to maintain high quality meetings, make every meeting friendly, informative, and enjoyable. At the same time, we wish to attract more nice people from different walks of life, making the club a great place for human networking. You are sincerely invited to join our meeting at every Tuesday evening.
