Big news! The 2009 Toastmasters Autumn convention will be held in Shenzhen from Nov. 27 - 29! No matter
you have attended one in the past or not, don’t miss this one! It will GO BEYOND your imagination!
For those who don’t know what a Toastmasters convention is, a Toastmasters convention in China is held once
every six months to gather people from all over the country, to bring out the national champion of public
speaking, to share ideas, to enjoy workshops given by the world champion of public speaking and a number of
DTMs (Distinguished Toastmasters)!

 

What’s New?
First off, we have fixed the convention venue at Shenzhen Te Qu Bao Ye Building.

 

 

Secondly, the 2005 world champion of public speaking Mr. Lance Miller and the 2004 District 80 (HK) Champion of Public Speaking Mr. Khalid Khan have accepted our invitations to be our keynote speakers.

 

Who Will Join In?
We feel privileged that Mr. Lance Miller – the 2005 world champion of public speaking – will fly over from the United States to share his Toastmasters experience and life insights with us on this special occasion.

Mr. Miller has joined Toastmasters for over 17 years, and delivered over 1,500 speeches across over 25 countries, appeared on over 100 TV & radio shows. In 2005 he emerged from a field of over 25,000 contestants to earn the title of Toastmasters 2005 World
Champion of Public Speaking. With his rich experience in both Toastmasters and life, we believe that you will enjoy Mr. Miller’s secret of
Effective Speech Evaluation on Nov. 27, and experience of Losing My Way To The World Championship on Nov. 28.

Another distinguished guest who will be one of our keynote speakers is Mr. Khalid Khan – the 2004 District 80 champion of public speaking. Mr. Khan has over 15 years of Toastmasters experience, and was a Division governor of Division HK in 2005 and 2006. He visits clubs in Shenzhen on occasion. People who know him know that he gives perfect speeches!
Mr. Khan will share The Secret of Super Star Speaking on Nov. 28.
