for Youth and Young Adults
Culture is nearly invisible until its veneer is stripped away by a serious
problem. For youthful offenders, our society sees culture change as
impossible without authoritarian, top-down force. Alternatives are
available. There are a growing number of examples where cultures are
changed using a bottom-up approach that utilizes the peer culture itself.
