October 20 at 7 pm will be the Shell Rock Community Historical Society's Annual Meeting.  It will be held at the Boyd Building.  Reports will be given from the various committees.  Two board members' terms expire and will be open for re-election.

Matt and Miranda Haugen will speak of Matt's military experiences.

Several new areas will be presented as to where the Society wants to begin collecting information.

The museum will close on Saturday, Oct. 24, for the 2009 season.  You may may arrangements for special tours by sending an email to shellrockhistory@yahoo.com  . 

The museum will highlight home-made quilts during Shell Rock's annual bazaars, November 20 and 21.
