Two fast things.
One's free, but only for a short while. One's a good deal, but only for a short while. So... BE FAST! and maybe you can catch 'em.

The first is http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/

Check this link daily to find out what software they are giving away. You never know what it could be. Maybe something you've been eyeing or something you didn't know existed.

The next one is a site similar to www.woot.com in that they only sell one thing at a time. It's http://ihavetohavethat.com/ Emphasis on the word "that" since it's the word they use to refer to the merchandise. It goes in a slightly different direction from Woot. LIke Woot, they have a list of links to the things sold in days past, but unlike Woot, if there are any leftovers, you can still buy them. Also, it's not necessarily once a day like Woot is. As it reads in their "What's THAT about" section:

• ...when the current THAT sells out ... we have the next THAT ready. Sometimes we have 1,000, sometimes we have 10, so the THAT can change 1 time a week or 10 times a day.

No niche for this.
Usually, I have a website that fits the category of the picture or video or story I'm posting. None of my sites did this time, so it's going in the Belly by default. I was making the whole pack of bacon and I just was trying to think of a way to get it all in the pan at the same time. A little basket weaving 101 and voila - a crunchy porcine potholder!

I haven't posted here since October? I had better do something quick to make up for lost time! How 'bout I apprise you of the fact that yours truly is a movie star? Okay, not exactly a star... but I was an extra in Wayne's World. How cool is that?

The scene is in a club with a band playing, and the camera is shows the audience from behind a couple of times. The first time, look for me in the middle with blonde curly hair and a white shirt, but I'm kind of a blur. The next shot, about a second later, the camera's in closer, but I'm a little more to the right, bangin' my head to the music!

Folks, I might refer you this time to my big bro's artwork. He has always had creative talent, but this year, his daughter was taking a painting class, and he decided he'd like to try some of that himself. Having never worked in oils, you'd think he'd be clumsy at it and churn out some garage sale filler in his first ten or twenty tries. But y'know, he's done some good work. He paints in broad strokes that let you complete the details in your mind, while the colors reach out and tickle your cornea. Have a look. You may end up contacting him.

Getchergadgets, ya'll. Google has made their "gadgets" or miniature applications available for use on any web page. Woohoo! I was already privy to them here on my googlepage, but now I can put them on my Blogger pages too.
