Hi Parents,

I'm new to Chinook's Title I team this year, but not new to Chinook!  I now teach reading to Kindergarten through fifth grade students 45 minutes a day. 

Doing what I love and loving what I do!

I know many, if not most, of the students at Chinook from my years as a classroom teacher, but it has been fun meeting new ones along the way. 

Before working as the Reading Specialist I worked as a third grade teacher, second grade teacher, first grade teacher (do you see a pattern???) and Kindergarten teacher here at Chinook.  My first job here at Chinook was as a 5th grade replacement teacher in 1992.

I welcome your calls and look forward to working with you for the benefit of your child.  I am a reading specialist because I truly love books and love reading.  I hope to help your child love reading also!  Please call if you have any questions or concerns.  With teamwork, together we can help your child have a wonderful year!
