Digital Imaging Assignment

For our Digital History class we were given an assignment to manipulate digital images with a program called GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program). I have included the following photographs beside their originals to display the results of my experiment with this program. While I don't consider myself a photographer I had a lot of fun with this assignment, and have developed a greater appreciation for the wonders of digital photography!

1. Convert a colour image to greyscale and to black and white
