Here you will find the week's spelling words. If your child loses his or her list, refer to this page.
On Monday of each week, the students take a spelling pretest using the first 12 words on the list below. After grading the prestest, your child will receive the misspelled words as his or her own spelling list for the week. These words will be highlighted in the agendas. The highlighted words will be the tested words on Fridays. Expect between 10 and 12 words to be highlighted. If your child only misses a few words from the basic list, then several challenge words will be chosen to create a full list to study. If your child does not misspell any words, then he or she will work on the challenge list.
