Below is the homework schedule. Please encourage your child to complete, or attempt the homework assignments each night. Homework is usually a review of lessons taught. If your child struggles with the assignment, it is up to him or her to talk with me in the mornings so that I can help them understand the assignment. Please do not stress over homework! It is meant to be a review and practice from the day's lessons. Agendas and homework folders are to be returned to school each day. It is important for your child to make this a routine.
The calendar in your child's homework folder is for logging nightly reading. I strongly suggest 15 minutes of reading in the evenings. As your child reads, please write the title of the book and the minutes read in the space provided.
Monday- Math and Spelling
 Tuesday- Reading/Grammar/Word Work and Spelling
Wednesday- Math and Spelling
Thursday- Spelling only. Study for Friday's test.
Friday- No weekend homework, unless projects are assigned. |
