Shihan Daniels annual Spring course & black belt gradings recently took place at our Headquarters, on 5th and 6th of May 2012.

Shaw had it's highest number of students in the last few years attend the course and all throughly enjoyed the weekend.  Everyone was treated to Sensei Colin warmup session on both days. Shihan Daniels taught a new kata Sanseru where he went through the moves, timing and bunkai.  It was good to meet up with all the other students and dojo's from around the UK.  The course was very well attended by all dojo's, and everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves, in both training & socialising. Below are some pictures from the course. Unfortunately this time there is not as many photo's because Ben forgot his charger for his camera and had to use his video camera instead.

Many congratulations should go to everyone who graded on the course, but a special congratulations has to go to our own Sensei Charlie Mitchell who passed his 2nd Dan making us all very proud.

Hopefully next time we can take more students, these course are open to all students from Shaw Karate Club. (Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)
