Shihan Daniels recently held his annual Autumn course at the SKF headquarters over the weekend of the 21st to the 23rd October 2011.
The students were all looking forward to the course, we did not have as many junior grades on this course and so Shihan Daniels decided to teach all students Superempi, our most senior kata, this kata had not been taught to the students for a long time due to the complexity of the kata it can only really be taught on a weekend course. Shihan Daniels spent time focusing on some of the blocks and stances that are used multiple times in succession within the kata, such as Mawashi Uke and Sanchin Dachi.
As usual the course was fantastic and it was great to meet up with other students from across the SKF world old and new faces. All enjoyed the course immensly and yet again on the Saturday night we were treated to another great party, with great food and great company. Shaw club extends their thanks to all those to helped make the course and party a success.
Below are some photos from the course.
