Hello, my name is Shawn Kelli Hinger.  I currently reside in Athens, Georgia; I was born in Dekalb County, Georgia and have lived in various places between Gwinnett County and Athens.  I have a husband, a 5 year old daughter, a 15 year old step-daughter, and another daughter on the way.

    I graduated from UGA with a Bachelors Degree and certification in English Education in 1993 and have been teaching at Clarke Middle School ever since.  I taught 8^th grade English for four years and became the media specialist and technology coordinator at the beginning of the 2007 school year.  I will graduate with my Masters Degree in Instructional Technology with certification in Library Media on December 19^th.  I enjoy working with students and teachers to promote all facets of literacy and plan to stay at Clarke Middle School as the media specialist and raise my family in Athens for many years to come.
