Object Information :

QSO 0957+561 is a gravitationally lensed Quasar that forms 2 images in Ursa Major and near a well know galaxy called NGC 3079. Unobtainable through a small telescope and but a mear 2 points of light through a 16". The 2 points of light seen in the photo are bent around a massive gravitational body between
us and the Quasar. Both points of lights are actually the same galaxy! What a great image!
