Short Bio

Sharona T. Levy 

I am a member of the faculty at the University of Haifa, part of two divisions: Preschool Education and Development and Technologies in Education at the Faculty of Education.  I conducted my thesis titled Young children's learning via solving problems in the real world with Professor David Chen and received my Ph.D. in 2003 from Tel-Aviv University's School of Education.  After completing my Ph.D. I carried out postdoctoral research with Professor Uri Wilensky at the Center for Connected Learning and Computer-Based Modeling in the Learning Sciences department at Northwestern University. My undergraduate studies are in Chemistry at Tel-Aviv University and my masters graduate studies in are in Chemistry at the Technion with Professor Shammai Speiser, where I explored electronic interactions among closely-distanced molecules.
