CAMPAIGN 1 - PROMOTE AWARENESS AMONGST PEOPLE TO CASTE VOTE - 3 May 2009 @ 10 am in Delhi University

 Initial Proposal

Why Bike Ride:

It is the easiest and environmental way, no pollution, no hassles. Even if you don't have a bicycle, you can hire one from Delhi University Metro Station @ Rs 10 Only/-  for 4 hours on submitting any of your ID card (they will keep the original till you return their bike). The bicycles are available from 7am to 9pm. Quite a time that is to do our business.  Make sure you reach early enough because there are only 50 bikes.

How does it help:

Everything that is marketed well, sells. When a big team of guys and girls go on bicycles with slogans asking everyone to vote, we'll catch the eye. Got a better idea, share it here.

How much time:

Well the current programme includes cycling for 2 kms only as most of us would not have the stamina to get going for long. Even if we ride slowly, won't take us more than an hour I guess.

Why Delhi University:

It is the safest area, less traffic, more nature and you would get your bicycles there. Moreover, if we go in a big group cycling would be difficult in a crowded place.

Who all can come:

Bring along your friends and family. It's a social cause, no entry fees. Show the country, you dare and care.

Where to assemble:

10 AM at Delhi University Metro station on 3 May 2009, Sunday.
