About your formatter:

Hi, my name is Cathy Shands.  I worked in thesis formatting/review with Montezuma Publishing at San Diego State University for 3 years and spent the last year as the reviewer for all SDSU Theses/Dissertations.  I have been an independent formatter since 2012. I primarily work with San Diego State University (SDSU), San Jose State University (SJSU), and University of California San Diego (UCSD) students. I have extensive knowledge and experience with the formatting requirements of these universities and am familiar with all reference styles.  I still maintain a close relationship with Montezuma Publishing.  Over 500 theses and dissertations have gone through my services. 

Fees and Services:

$3 per page (based on the final page count after formatting has been completed)

Includes:

• • Formatting of all Dissertation or Thesis Requirements, including but not limited to, preliminary pages, main text, figures, tables, in-text citations, references, and appendices. 

  • Covers any corrections that might come back from the reviewer at Montezuma Publishing or from your committee for UCSD students

Please keep in mind that I take orders on a first come first serve basis

Editing Services:  Unfortunately, I do not offer editing services. Sally Ades (sbedit@comcast.net) is an editor I work with who can take care of editing aspects I do not cover.

Payment:

Payment is taken after formatting is complete. I will email you an invoice through PayPal. This can be paid online even if you do not have a PayPal account. 

Once I receive confirmation of payment from PayPal you will receive a Word copy of your completed thesis. 

*All payments are to be made through PayPal. I do not accept payments from grants or any other payment service. 

SDSU and SJSU: Be sure that you do not make any changes to the thesis/dissertation at this point as this can change the formatting and
null the guarantee that I will make corrections if it is sent back from review.  

If you aren't a part of UCSD or SDSU I am still more than willing and capable of formatting for you.

All I need is your university's formatting guidelines and the citation style you prefer. Email me if you have any questions.

Formatting Standards:

• Font Style: Times New Roman

• Font Size: 12 points

• Spacing: Depends on your university standard
  (SDSU standard is 1.5, if you would like 2.0 you must tell me prior to starting formatting)

Turnaround Time:

1 week - orders received after 5pm will have a start date of the next day

*Turnaround time is subject to change 

Error Guarantee:

I will fix any errors that I made or did not catch without any further charges.  

SDSU and SJSU students: once formatting is completed and you have received your thesis/dissertation if any changes are made
before you submit to Montezuma Publishing then the error guarantee is null
