If you used to be awake in your history classes, you might have heard, that a slowdown in the IT industry in the beginning of 21st century had left many of the software engineers without any visible work. "Visible" assumes significance in the last sentences as that tribe did not use to have any work before the slowdown also, but then it was not visible. So, yours truly used to be one of those workless souls those days and the idea of putting this page found a solid reason of getting implemented .... so solid that even the most dominating aspect of the personality of software engineers in general, and yours truly in particular, laziness, too was unable to stop it from happening. This site is a tribute to all those individuals, organizations, managers and others, who were, though unknowingly, instrumental in bringing the IT industry to the stage that it managed to reach those days. |
