The UC System-Wide GSHIP and You

Dear Student,

The University Office of the President last spring requested proposals for an all-campus wide graduate student insurance policy. Bidding for proposals closed in September, and the Regents will meet in January to consider purchasing one of these proposals for as early as the 2010 - 2011 academic year. Information is currently limited on the details of these plans and what a system-wide GSHIP could mean for UCLA remains uncertain. SHAC, the GSA and campus staff and clinical directors are working hard to ensure that your coverage remains exemplary and your costs are as low as possible.
