Trout-fishing Accommodation on Arthurs Lake, Tasmania

A modern, fully insulated shack on 70 lakefront acres in the protected southwest corner of Arthurs Lake in Tasmania's Central Highlands, one of the world's premier trout-fishing destinations.

Plenty of parking for trailers, easy access to area boat launches -- or use the four-wheel-drive track to your private launching area. The lot is densely wooded, with rocky ridges and a large meadow to delight bushwalkers.

The shack has two bedrooms (one w/twins, one double), a toilet/shower, and lounge room.  Kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, two-burner hot plate, microwave oven, toaster, tea pot, pans and all utensils.
  • Barbecue/picnic table
  • Sheets and towels
  • TV/DVD
  • Wood stove with firewood
  • Fish-cleaning table
Guests should plan to provision themselves before leaving Launceston or Hobart as commercial development in the area is limited.
