I am currently a PhD candidate in the department of Computer-Science and Engineering at Michigan State University. I work in the Devolab (Digital Evolution Laboratory) under Dr. Charles Ofria and Dr. Rich Lenski. I plan to graduate this December (2009) and pursue a career in Academia, focusing especially on teaching Computer Science and involving undergraduates in research projects.
Outside of school I spend my time running/hiking/biking/climbing/camping with my dog Adelaide, reading mostly science-fiction and fantasy novels (in Spanish when I can), playing the occasional video game (waiting for Starcraft II to come out at the moment), and practicing/competing with my traveling ultimate frisbee team, Hybrid.
