 This year's performances will be held at Mercy High School on Saturday December 19th at 7:00pm and Sunday December 20th at 2:00pm. Proceeds from the auction primarily fund a special benefit show for community and qualified children's organizations on Saturday December 19th, at 2:00pm ($5 admission). The San Francisco Youth Ballet Theatre is presenting its annual performance of The Nutcracker. As a non-profit organization, the San Francisco Youth Ballet Theatre's primary purpose is to educate, preserve and expand appreciation for the fine arts, challenge and develop children's creativity, and create future patrons of the arts through public performances, community workshops, and academic lecture demonstrations. It is SFYBT's goal to make the beauty of ballet available to everyone. Additionally, we intend to bring joy, magic, fantasy, and creativity into the lives of families and children living under difficult circumstances. The silent auction is one of many fundraisers we hold to raise money for the Nutcracker benefit performance.
