Home | Welcome Religious Education is concerned with structuring an environment in such a way that people become intimately linked to the experience, wisdom, and tacit knowledge with others for the purpose of future religious development. The Religious Education curriculum in the church is the congregation gathering in community, worship, teaching, proclamation, and service. A religious educator must be focused on the challenging mission of fashioning a people as an artistic expression of human life. Catechesis is part of the Church’s Religious Education. Catechesis is the vital work of teaching people to practice a particular way of life. Catechists are religious educators sent by the Christian community so that through their words and actions, they can helps others to discover God and to follow Jesus in his message. Catechesis is not only religious instruction, but a global formation for life, therefore, the best catechist is the one who guides others to be in direct communication with God. Family Faith Program at Xavier is "committed to learning our Christian Faith, creating communities and fostering spiritual growth for our children, youth, parents, and caretakers."
Registrations Please provide a copy of every child’s baptismal certificate with this registration form if baptized somewhere other than St. Francis Xavier or if not submitted previously. Fee tuition: $75.00 per child.
