We have a project for helping a poor church in Ensenada Mexico - through a contact at St. Michael's Abby we are setting up a donation system where we can request a Mass to be said for a loved one in this small humble church for a donation of your choosing - It is a win-win - since we can have Mass offered and they get a little money. We'll be making request forms for them soon.
For the same church we are going to be putting together simple sewing kits that the children in the church can give to their mother's on Mother's Day next year - please be collecting any small kits from hotel stays - and be on the look out for simple kits (thread, needles, etc.) you might see on sale or clearance at the local stores. Every little thing helps. |
